The Founder Moe Daniels, the founder of Swing City Records, Inc., began playing piano in 1957 at the ripe old age of 3. since then he went through school studying music and business and into college as a music major. During his studies he became a master in composition arranging and perfoming. Through the years Moe Daniels Performed and/or recorded for many major performers in the music industry. The line-up includes performers of international acclaim such as: The Spinners, Isaac Hayes, George Duke, Anita Baker, Vesta, Lonnie Smith, Lonnie Liston Smith, Melisa Morgan, Kim Waters, Glen Jones, Nancy Wilson, Ray Parker, George Johnson (Brothers Johnson), Jean Carne, Michael Henderson, Najee, Dave Chapell and many others. Moe Daniels performed at many of the worlds most prestigious venues including: Bellagio's in Las Vegas, Atlantas in The Bahamas, James Bond Beach in Jamaica, The House Of Blues in Hollywood Ca., The White House under the Clinton administration (1999) as well as the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center where he was contracted by Najee to arrange and perform 5 pieces for The Dallas Symphony Orchestra (2006). After traveling thoughout the US, Canada, South Africa, The Carribean, Spain, Italy, Germany, France and other Parts of Europe; Moe Daniels teamed with some of the finest musicians available in the Mid-Atlantic region to form Swing City Records, Inc.

The people at Swing City Records, Inc USA. have been upgrading, updating, building and developing sound for new artists and clients in the region. The sound of the Mid-Atlantic is alive and well. Sadly, two of the Original members of the Swing City Studio Orchestra are no longer with us. Roy (Tanglefoot) McCoy (Trumpet) (2002), and Jimmy Wells (Vibes and Piano) (2004). Their contributions to the lives of so many of us will not be forgotten. We At Swing City Records are developing new material for an upcoming CD on Moe Daniels / True Hearts Project as well as a few other Artist in the area. We're committed to the production of high quality music for people who enjoy music for what it was meant to be.
